A remarkable vision realized.

Say hello to The Tiburon Ridge.

With the imminent acquisition of the Martha Property, which still requires significant dollars to finalize (see donations), a once unimaginable vision has become quite real. Joined together with adjacent open spaces, a new, contiguous, and truly magnificent open space will be created. The Tiburon Ridge.

The Tiburon Ridge will be—we can’t wait to soon say that in the present tense—a unique and remarkable 292 contiguous acre open space that sits right smack dab in the middle of urban Northern California. Martha will join hands with her neighbors: the Old Saint Hilary’s Open Space, the San Francisco State University Romberg Open Space, and the Keil Property to create this urban marvel.

The Marin County Open Space District, which now manages the adjacent lands, will also manage The Tiburon Ridge. The Romberg property will continue to be managed by San Francisco State University. There is widespread support for this among conservationists, environmentalists, politicians, local citizens. You name it. Lovers of beautiful, complex, and diverse land, sitting protected at an urban crossroads as dynamic as the Bay Area, will forever have open space to look at, walk upon, and love.

The Tiburon Ridge.
